Spain Banco de Espana 100 Pesetas 1.1.1884 Pick 26. Printed by ABNCo this attractive orange and black note that features a vignette of a group of cherubs / putti playing with a dolphin. A portrait of Juan Alvarez de Mendizabal, who served as Prime Minister of Spain from 1835-36, completes the face design. The back design is also printed in a vibrant orange. PMG grades this example Choice Very Fine 35, noting Minor Repairs (which apparently are small sealed center fold splits at the top and bottom margins). HID08701242017
