Zambia Bank of Zambia £5 ND (1964) Pick 3. With a low two digit serial number of 31, this note would have been among the earliest printed following Zambia's independence from Great Britain in 1964. In issued form, this £5 issue is notoriously difficult to acquire in any grade above VF. The only comparable example that has ever surfaced publicly was a PCGS 58PPQ example, which sold in our 2014 Ruth Hill Auction for $5,287. The present note, with its two digit serial number and grade of PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ, is wonderful in its own right. HID08701242017
