Cyprus Republic of Cyprus 250 Mils 5.9(19)63 Pick UNL Face and Back Printer's Model. A Thomas de la Rue pair of Printer's Models with the coat of arms and a map of Cyprus on the face. The back is a vignette of the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates Curium. This was a main Cyprus religious center in antiquity as the god Apollo was worshipped on the island from the middle of the 8th century BC until the end of the Roman era. The final destruction of the temple began with the great earthquake of AD 365 which not only struck Cyprus, but the entire eastern Mediterranean. The face grades PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ and the back grades PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. HID08701242017
