1920-D 1C MS65 Red PCGS. With a mintage in excess of 49 million, the 1920-D should be easier to find than it is in high grades. Unlike many examples, this piece was struck from a relatively new obverse die and thus shows sharp definition on that side. Deep cherry-red color is seen throughout with a few flyspecks of carbon present.
