1837 H10C No Stars, Small Date (Flat Top 1) MS65 PCGS. The No-Stars design subtype is a short-lived design type necessary for completion of a Seated Liberty half dime set and for more general type sets as well. This is the No Stars, Small Date variety, distinguished by a Flat Top 1 in the date. The Large Date variant has a Pointed 1. Lovely gunmetal-blue and ivory-gold "target" toning on both sides display bright mint luster and smooth, essentially unmarked surfaces. A sharply struck Gem Uncirculated example, it is ideal for a high-grade collection.
