Bust Half Dollars
1819 50C O-112, R.3, AU58 PCGS. The reverse of this somewhat scarce variety is distinguished by TE in STATES joining at the top but not the bottom, due to an extra die-line connector. On the obverse, star 1 is quite close to the drapery and point between two dentils. This still-lustrous near-Mint State example displays splendid honey-gold and blue rim patina with silvery centers that are lightly hairlined but retain much eye appeal.
