Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1941-S 50C MS66+ PCGS. CAC. A key issue in the late-date Walking Liberty series, the 1941-S is scarce in MS66 condition and it is rare any finer. This lustrous, colorfully toned example is certainly among the finest both in technical grade and eye appeal. Despite a bit of strike weakness at the centers (as almost always found on this issue), the immaculate surfaces and incredible toning of this Premium Gem earned the Plus designation from PCGS. Violet, blue, orange, lime-green, and golden-rose toning cover both sides of the coin in wonderful pastel hues. Strong luster radiates from the smooth, mark-free fields and devices.
