1798 $1 Large Eagle, Pointed 9, Close Date, B-25, BB-123, R.4, PCGS. Bowers Die State III. Light golden-brown toning visits the peripheries of this otherwise stone-gray early dollar. Both sides are slightly bright, and display patches of hairlines beneath a lens. Marks are trivial aside from a single thin diagonal line on the portrait. An interesting curly lint mark (as made) is noted above the M in UNUM.
