1972 1C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS67 Red PCGS. Bold die doubling is visible on the date, IN GOD WE TRUST, and LIBERTY, as well as Lincoln's lapel. Other than a small speck behind Lincoln's head, there are no distractions on this Red Superb Gem. The strike is sharp, and the surfaces display satiny rose-gold and copper-orange coloration. Only a single numerically finer Red example is reported by PCGS. Population: 45 in 67 (1 in 67+) Red, 1 finer (7/17).
