1937-D 5C Three-Legged, FS-901, MS64 NGC. This long-time Guide Book listing is a perennial fan-favorite. The missing leg is completely eliminated by die lapping on this Choice example. Each side is satiny nickel-gray, and while the obverse is well-struck with minor die erosion near the rims, the reverse lacks bold detail on the bison's head. A couple of stray ticks limit the grade, but they are of little consequence.
