1885-CC $1 MS67 NGC. In spite of its low mintage of only 228,000 coins, the 1885-CC was largely set aside at the time of issue and very few pieces actually entered circulation. Still, the low mintage is a lure for collectors. It is also an issue that was very well-produced. This piece is brilliant and exhibits the expected radiant mint luster. Additionally, it is essentially mark-free.
