Large Cents
1794 1C Starred Reverse, S-48, B-38, R.5 -- Environmental Damage -- PCGS Genuine. AG Details. Our EAC grade: sharpness of Good 4, net Fair 2. The famous Starred Reverse cent, a highly popular variety since the day it was discovered in 1878. While this steel and chocolate-brown example has been cleaned and recolored, exhibiting light surface corrosion, it retains nearly half of the stars from 5 o'clock to 11 o'clock. While the date is gone, LIBERTY remains mostly visible with traces of hair detail on the obverse. PCGS graded Fair 2 in its 2010 appearance.
