1796 1C LIHERTY, S-104, B-45, R.3 -- Damage -- PCGS Genuine. Good Details. Our EAC grade: sharpness of VG7, net Good 5. Breen Die State II. The popular LIHERTY variety, where the B was first entered upside down, then corrected. Several small planchet flaws or old digs exist on each side. The smoothly worn surfaces are faintly iridescent with an overall reddish-brown hue. The rims show intermittent weakness but the devices are mostly outlined, with slight blending at the bust drapery and the lower date numerals.
