1796 1C Reverse of 1797, S-105, B-44, Low R.5 -- Edge Damaged -- PCGS Genuine. VF Details. Our EAC grade: sharpness of VF20, net VG7. Breen Die State II. Abnormally high, compressed rims surround both sides of this granular, lightly porous S-105 cent. The 6 in the date is repunched north. The devices are well-defined for the grade, with fewer marks and less wear than expected, although the elevated rims show several minor irregularities. We note a small nick on the bust. Deep-brown shades surround medium-brown raised elements.
