1798 1C Second Hair Style, S-184, B-45, R.1 -- Environmental Damage -- PCGS Genuine. Fine Details. Our EAC grade: sharpness of Fine 12, net VG7. Struck from an early state of the dies, with little evidence of die chips around the 7 in the date, although a few small chips are visible between RT and the hair. This is a microgranular, "circulation cameo" example with two-tone color. Deep-brown fields contrast with reddish-tan high points. As always, the rims lack their dentils.
