1889 $1 MS65 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. Toned in warm champagne-gold hues with violet and blue border coloration, this Gem Deep Mirror Prooflike 1889 Morgan does not have obvious cameo contrast, although when tilted beneath a light the fields gleam with liquidlike mirroring. The strike is bold, and neither side exhibits distracting abrasions. Many finer non-Prooflike coins exist, but Prooflike and Deep Mirror Prooflike pieces are rare in this condition. Population: 38 in 65 Deep Mirror Prooflike, 4 finer (8/17).
