1852-D G$1 AU55 NGC. Variety 4-F. The only known die pair was used to strike 6,360 gold dollars at the Dahlonega, Georgia Mint in 1852. This Choice AU representative has yellow-gold surfaces that host inconspicuous hairlines on each side. Several radial die cracks are evident on the reverse. Census: 20 in 55, 63 finer (8/17).
