Indian Eagles
1911-D $10 AU58+ PCGS. CAC. The Denver Mint let Saint-Gaudens eagle output fall to 30,100 coins in 1911. Just like its quarter eagle brother, this ten dollar issue is a respected key in its series. PCGS apparently saw the faintest trace of friction, limiting the grade to AU58+. CAC clearly believed the coin was high-end for that assessment, as do we. Textured orange-gold surfaces are satiny and minimally abraded. A dark spot occurs under the tailfeathers. The coin is impressively well-struck.
