1908-D $20 Motto MS64+ PCGS. This high-end near-Gem displays the usual satiny yellow-gold luster of the With Motto 1908-D double eagle, with clean fields and boldly struck design elements. Grade-limiting abrasions are remarkably faint for the grade, and this piece might have garnered a full MS65 designation were the luster slightly more vibrant. As it stands, this is one of the finest 1908-D With Motto double eagles that we have seen in grades below MS65.
