Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1912 $20 MS64 PCGS. From a smallish mintage of 149,700 pieces, the 1912 Saint-Gaudens double eagle is a very scarce issue in grades above the MS64 level. This impressive Choice specimen offers sharply detailed design elements and lustrous orange-gold surfaces. Only minor signs of contact are evident. PCGS has graded 51 numerically finer examples (7/17).
