1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-253, R.7, PR64 NGC. Snow PT-28. Low Date, Five-Leaf Clusters. Indian head cent as adopted in 1859, struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Two obverse and two reverse dies were used to strike these pattern cents. This is the rare variant with a low date and clusters of five leaves. The Judd-208 is common, but only a half dozen pieces are estimated known of this variant, according to USPatterns.com. The blue-gray surfaces have significant reddish patina surrounding the devices on each side.
