LYDIA, Tralleis. Circa 166-67 BC. AR Drachm (16mm, 2.85 g, 12h). Cistophoric standard. Ptol–, magistrate. Struck circa 133–127/6 BC. Lion skin draped over club; all within wreath / Grape bunch on vine with leaves in background; ΠT-OΛ above, TPAΛ to left; to right, Dionysos standing facing, head left, holding thrysos and mask of Silenos. CNG E-364, lot 293; Numismatik Naumann 52, lot 1330; otherwise unpublished. VF, toned, hairline flan crack, a touch of porosity, small edge chip. Very rare denomination.
