THRACE, Hadrianopolis. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (26mm, 8.17 g, 8h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Tyche seated left, head facing, within tetrastyle temple; shield and spear in pediment. Youroukova, Hadrianople 553 (V245/R519); Varbanov 3854 corr. (Tyche not Homonoia). Near VF, dark green to black patina with touches of red, some minor smoothing.
