Constantius II. AD 337-361. Æ Follis (16mm, 1.49 g, 12h). Converted into a gaming token(?). Siscia mint, 2nd officina. Struck AD 351-355. [Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right], which has been smoothed. A large 'X' has been cut into the design, and the coin's edge scalloped / Soldier standing left, spearing fallen horseman; BSISZ (Z retrograde). Cf. RIC VIII 352; cf. LRBC 1218. VF, dark green to black patina with earthen highlights/deposits. Interesting contemporary use of a late Constantinian-era follis.
