GEORGIUS · DEI · GRATIA · REX ·, laureate, Roman-style head of George II right / HIBERNIA · 1723 ·, Hibernia seated left holding palm-branch and resting elbow on Irish harp. KM 117.1; Seaby 4601. near VF / F, some green deposits and scratches on obverse, flat spot and scratches on reverse - flan slightly waffled. 

These were imported in great numbers by merchants in the Americas to facilitate trade. They circulated widely in North America during the American colonial and early Federal period in the USA and Canada
