Pontus, Uncertain Mint city in Pontus or Paphlagonia. Imperatorial Issue. Ca. 30 B.C. AE 23 (22.96 mm, 8.11 g, 1 h). bare head right, koppa or Q beneath truncation / FETIA, two figures sacrificing a pig. RPC I 2156. VF, attractive smooth green/black patina. Rare.

This is a fascinating issue which had been dated to the late 1st Century B.C. The specimen cited in RPC did not have the koppa visible. The Q in this case is most likely indicating it is a Quaestor issue. A few of this type have made it to market recently, but a collector pointed out another issue sold by CNG which is very similar in style and fabric: https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=341307&fref=gc&dti=516847581809995
