MACEDON, Stobi. Caracalla. AD 198-217. Æ (24mm, 7.33 g, 6h). Struck AD 212-213. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Nike standing right, foot on globe, holding stylus and shield set on knee. Josifovski –; Mouchmov –; Varbanov 3960 (same dies as illustration). Good VF, green patina, scratch on reverse and hint of smoothing in fields.
