EGYPT, Alexandria. Marcus Aurelius. AD 161-180. Æ Hemidrachm (28mm, 16.16 g, 12h). Dated RY 3 (AD 162/163). Radiate bust right, slight drapery / Agathodaimon serpent erect right, wearing skhent, with a hawk-tipped club in its coils and facing Uraeus serpent erect left, wearing horns and disc, with two grain ears in its coils; L Γ (date) across field. Apparently unpublished in the standard references, including Emmett. Good VF, dark brown and tan surfaces, some minor corrosion. Attractive. Extremely rare.
