C. Norbanus, 83 BC. Denarius (Silver, 21 mm, 3.76 g, 12 h), Rome. C•NORBANVS / CXVI Diademed head of Venus to right, wearing necklace and pendant earring. Rev. Ear of wheat, fasces bound with an axe and caduceus. Babelon (Norbana) 2. Crawford 357/1b. RBW -. Sydenham 739. A sharply struck example with light golden toning. Faint surface marks and with very minor die rust on the reverse, otherwise, virtually as struck.
