GREEK COINS
Boeotia. Thebes. Circa 480-460 BC. Stater (Silver, 15 mm, 12.16 g). Boeotian shield with rim divided into eight compartments. Rev. Incuse square with anticlockwise mill-sail pattern; at the center, archaic [+ in circle]. BCD Boiotia 354 (same dies). Attractively toned. Struck on a tight flan with the obverse slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
