Islands off Attica. Aegina. Circa 456/45-431 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 12.18 g). Land tortoise with segmented shell. Rev. Incuse square with a skew pattern. ACGC 127. Milbank pl. 2, 12. SNG Copenhagen 516. SNG Delepierre 1836. Clear and attractive with a light gray toning. Some minor areas of flatness on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
