Ptolemaic Kings of Egypt. Ptolemy V Epiphanes, 205-180 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 14.30 g, 12 h), Arados or Cyprus (?), year 81 = 182/1 BC. Diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis. Rev. ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; in exergue, date ΠΑ. Svoronos 1102. Lightly toned. Traces of horn silver, otherwise, extremely fine.
