CILICIA. Syedra. Maximus, as Caesar, 235/6-238. (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.09 g, 5 h). Γ ΙΟΥ ΟΥΗΡ ΜΑΞΙΜΟC KAI Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximus to right. Rev. CYEΔΡΕΩΝ Artemis standing right, holding bow with her left hand and drawing an arrow from a quiver over her back with her right; to right, dog jumping to right. SNG Levante 422. A very well struck and sharp example with fine details, an attractive light green patina, and a good portrait of Maximus. Extremely fine.
