Slow quadriga to r., the driver, wearing long chiton, holding the reins with his r. hand, the kentron with his l. hand; above, Nike flying r. to crown the horses; in exergue ketos to r. Rev. KATANA(I O N) Laureate head of Apollo r., the hair bound up in back of head. 17.69 g. SNG ANS 1249. Gulbenkian 182. Rare. Slight flattening and small flan crack. Excellent style. About extremely fine.
