North of Scotland and Town and County Bank Limited, obverse and reverse proof on card for £1, 1 May 1908, black on pale underprint, value top left and right and in blue at centre, crown spire on chapel of King's College, Aberdeen, reverse, vignette of Aberdeen at centre with value around, shield in each cornerink annotation 'W & A K Johnston Ltd' on reverse, card a little damaged at corners, otherwise, as issued, very pretty and very rare (2).
