Royal Bank of Scotland, a contemporary copy of a £1, 1 April 1861, serial number 278/86, black and white, royal arms top centre flanked by unicorn at left and lion at right, allegorical maidens low left and right, 'pay to James Wright or the Bearer' at centre, value in tablet at centre, two manuscript signatures, Lizars engraving(Douglas 36), a little discoloured, some wear and tear to edges, a very presentable good fine.
