Large (dark) natural emerald, 5.58 carats, from the Atocha (1622). Roughly 7/16" x 5/16". Somewhat crystalline shape with even dark-green color throughout, rather opaque and with light encrustation on surfaces, a great size for mounting in a pendant as is. With Fisher tag and photo-certificate #4336.
