Petrified ammonite shell in matrix, approx. 150 million years old. 6" x 5" x 2-1/2", 1593 grams. Large chunk of unpolished tan-colored shell in matrix with hand-beveled flat bottom for easy display. Ribs of extinct shell clearly visible. Rare and great for display.
