1652 6PENCE Pine Tree Sixpence, Pellets at Trunk, VF20 PCGS. Noe-33, W-670, Salmon 2-B, R.3. As usual for Noe 33, the obverse die is displaced to the northwest, crowding the legend partially off the flan between 10 and 1 o'clock. Similarly, the reverse lettering is slightly off the flan at the lower right because the planchet is a bit out-of-round. Deep grayish-blue patina covers the smooth surfaces and contrasts with the raised devices, which are silver-gray. Nicely defined for the grade, with only a slight wave in the planchet from the rocker press. Listed on page 41 of the 2018 Guide Book.
