Large Cents
1794 1C Head of 1794, S-59, B-57, R.3, VF25 PCGS. Wide LIBERTY and recutting on the left ribbon bow aid in attributing this variety, which Breen called High R.5. This moderately rough, reddish-brown cent has good portrait and wreath detail for a coin that saw considerable circulation. Dentils are clear everywhere except the upper obverse. Our EAC grade Fine 12.
