1796 1C Reverse of 1795, NC-4, B-23, High R.5, VG8 ANACS. Die State indeterminate due to wear along the upper reverse rim. All legends are readable, although the fraction is faint. Boldly outlined central devices retain some details in Liberty's hair. The reddish-brown surfaces have generous field granularity but nothing uncommonly distracting. Most known examples of this variety are well-worn or exhibit environmental impairments. Our EAC grade Good 4.
