Buffalo Nickels
1918/7-D 5C FS-101 VF25 NGC. The case could certainly be made that the 1918/7-D Buffalo nickel is the most famous variety of the 20th century, challenging the 1955 Doubled Die Obverse cent and the 1937-D Three-Legged nickel. Golden-olive patina covers this well-circulated key date representative. A few wispy marks appear on the Indian's head. The all-important overdate is strong.
