1920-D 5C MS65 NGC. Numerous thin die cracks on this Gem 1920-D nickel identify an eroded die state, along with the beginning stages of metal flowlines in the fields. The coin is nonetheless well-struck, despite the reputation of the 1920-D, and has original multicolor toning around the borders that lightens to lavender-blue at the centers. Census: 26 in 65, 3 finer (9/17).
