Early Half Dimes
1795 H10C V-4, LM-10, R.3, AU58 NGC. Variegated cherry-red, violet, and blue shades glow with bright mint luster that remains on this briefly circulated LM-10 half dime. The date touches the portrait -- 1 at the curl, and 5 at the neck truncation -- to help confirm the variety of sharply struck and colorful example. Remnants of a few adjustment marks cross the eagle's breast. LM-10 is a readily available die marriage, making it an ideal candidate for the two-year Flowing Hair type.
