1805 50C O-112, T-2, R.2, AU55 NGC. Tompkins Die State 1/1. An original, Choice About Uncirculated example of O-112, one of the readily available 1805 die marriages. Traces of reddish-gold and olive-gray toning surround the stone-gray centers of this sharply defined Draped Bust half. A broad die-clashed "collar" along Liberty's bust line and a long, curved die crack beneath STATES foreshadow the later die state, when a shifted cud obscures ES of STATES and causes a weak strike in the date area.
