Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1919-S 50C MS64 PCGS. CAC. An attractive example of a conditionally scarce issue, this Choice Mint State 1919-S Walking Liberty half dollar has satiny surfaces and above-average design definition. Both sides are partially brilliant with lemon-yellow toning at the lower obverse and upper reverse. Close study with a loupe reveals a few trivial ticks, not out of line for the grade. This San Francisco issue is among the less often seen dates from the early series and is a sought-after rarity in Gem condition. This attractive near-Gem will appeal to a range of collectors. PCGS has graded 52 finer examples (9/17).
