1876 T$1 Type One Obverse, Type Two Reverse, MS65 PCGS. Richly frosted, dusky bronze patina envelops both sides of this smoothly coruscated Trade dollar in a complex mix of contributing colors. Direct light reveals the depth of toning -- part grayish-blue, part rose-red, part pearlescent silver -- entirely eye-stopping. Sharply defined for this Centennial issue, the crisp strike shows from Liberty's hair strands to the eagle's leg and talons. A stunning Gem, with only a few finer. Population: 26 in 65 (1 in 65+), 10 finer (9/17).
