1884 $1 PR66 Cameo NGC. Deeply reflective, untoned fields surround nicely contrasted motifs of this Premium Gem, brilliant-white proof dollar. A bold strike is especially prominent on the eagle, and Liberty's hair and cap are sharp. Only a few of the 875 proofs struck survive any finer than this glittering example. Census: 12 in 66 Cameo, 14 finer (9/17).
