Liberty Eagles
1882-CC $10 AU55 NGC. Variety 2-A. This variety is characterized by misplaced digits in the denticles below the date on the obverse, and die lines within the left part of the shield on the reverse. A mere 6,764 ten dollar gold pieces were struck in Carson City in 1882. This is a bright example with significant portions of mint luster remaining and only minimal abrasions.
