1859 $20 AU58 PCGS. Yellow-gold surfaces display semireflective fields and a hint of frost over central devices that feature pinpoint definition. Strike detail is softer around the peripheries. Chatter occurs on each side, as usual. The 1859 has the second-lowest mintage among Philadelphia No Motto issues. Only 43,597 examples were struck. Moreover, the date becomes extremely difficult to locate in Mint State, where merely nine submissions have been seen by PCGS and NGC combined. This near-Mint example is conditionally rare in its own right and sure to find a good home in an advanced collection. Population: 19 in 58 (1 in 58+), 3 finer (8/17).
